Clinical Manager
Apple Hill Eye Center, a leading ophthalmology practice in York, PA, seeks a full-time Clinical Manager/COT to join our winning team.
Must have a diverse background in ophthalmology knowledge, such as ocular anatomy, medical terminology and diseases of the eye. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Experience in patient work-up, applanation tonometry, refractions, A-scans, IOL Master, testing and scribing.
- Responsible for assisting Ophthalmologists and supervising 3-4 technicians
- Oversees maintenance of exam rooms, diagnostic equipment and technician station supplies
- Implement doctor schedules.
- Works cooperatively with front office manager and staff to ensure optimal patient flow to maximize the efficiency of the doctors’ schedules
- Provides orientation and on-going training for technical staff.
- Schedules technician staff duties
Ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service and people skills, PC proficiency and good organizational skills. Must be certified ophthalmic technician (COT or COMT) with at least 3 years technician supervisory experience.
